Cognitive Loss As Early As Mid-40s

Remember that study I pointed out 2wks ago?  It concluded that silent strokes are related to memory loss.  Well, I didn't worry too much because the average age of the study participants was 80+.

However, in a study published earlier this month, the authors repeatedly assessed & followed the cognitive function of 5,198 men & 2,192 women over 10yrs.  The bad news?  Cognitive loss was noted as early as mid-late 40s.  If that doesn't give you a sense of urgency, I don't know what will.

Exercise & nutrition are key to maintaining brain function along with optimizing blood pressure, cholesterol & sugars.  Don't wait until it's too late!
