You've got to love it when Wall Street is a step ahead of the Food & Drug Administration (FDA)! Just when you think that there can only be so many variations on a theme, here's a new testosterone replacement product, as announced in the Wall Street Journal. Apparently, earlier today, the FDA approved BioSante Pharmaceuticals' Bio-T-Gel for the treatment of male hypogonadism. What's strange is that I could not find any mention of this new testosterone product in the FDA's New & Generic Drug Approvals page which was last updated yesterday! So which method/product is best? Actually, the better question to ask is which is best for you? And don't forget the all important wallet biopsy! Which will your insurance company cover?
